Discover Christian Hope at University.
What do you hope for?
Hopefully, I passed the exam. Hopefully, the money lasts until the end of the month. Hopefully, the weather will be nice tomorrow so we can go to the lake. Everyone hopes for something. The question is: "What do you hope for?"
As Christians, we put our hope in God, who created the world. But is that a hope that sustains us? And is it still relevant today to put our hope in God? At the Days of Hope, we explore these questions and many more around the topic of hope.
We have invited over 12 different speakers and look forward to exciting talks, various formats, and above all, a great atmosphere. The Days of Hope will be accompanied by lots of fun activities at PH and KIT. Look forward to spikeball, chill-out areas, and much more!
Everyone is welcome, no matter where you stand or what you believe. We'd love to chat with you, see you there :)Program
We’ve put together an amazing program for you, featuring talks, a film, a concert, and a party with a DJ, all centered around the topic of hope. Our supporting program includes a volleyball court, human foosball, and a chill-out area - perfect for relaxing and enjoying the summer.
We’ve got you covered when it comes to food and drinks. Most events offer free snacks and drinks. At KIT there’s even lunch on Monday and Tuesday, and a meal on Thursday at evening. At PH there are always waffles. Come along and join us ☺️.
Here in the calendar, you can see all the events taking place during the Days of Hope from 8 to 11 June 2026 at a glance. To find out more about an event, simply click on it. Several translations are also available for talks and sessions at KIT 🇬🇧; you can find more details on the page for each event.

In the International Area we will be there for you starting at 11:20 (a.m.) until around 22:00 (10 p.m.).
All events at KIT will also be translated. In addition to the specified languages, more languages may be available via Streamlingo.
The International Area will be located in our tent at KIT at the Forumswiese in front of the Audimax lecture hall (building 30.95).

About Us
The Days of Hope are organized by the student groups SfC and SMD. We are students from various fields of study who work together and deal with questions about life, faith, and everyday life.
SfC Karlsruhe
Students for Christ

We are an interdenominational, Christian student group with approximately 100 students from all Karlsruhe universities. Our passion is to inspire students for a life with Jesus and to make God's love tangible on campus. In addition to our SfC evening on Thursdays, there are regular joint activities. Look forward to fun, action, and genuine friendships. No matter where you come from or what you believe, you are warmly welcome!
SMD Karlsruhe
Student Mission in Germany

SMD is a Christian student movement which is active at over 80 university locations in Germany. In Karlsruhe, we are represented by around 30 students from different fields across all universities and different Christian denominations. What unites us is our shared faith in Jesus Christ, lived out together. Thinking, believing, and experiencing belong together for us.
We meet every second Tuesday at 6:30 PM. You can expect engaging talks, great fellowship, and good food. Feel free to drop by — we look forward to meeting you.
